Frequently asked questions (FAQ)

Videoslicer.com

What is the best video format ?

It depends. This is like asking what is the best phone, camera or car in the market, it all depends on what you want it for. There are some video formats better tailored for displaying on web pages, others for playing on devices like DVDs and yet others for long running movies. Basically, there's no 'one size fits all' video format.

I get the message 'Invalid file' what does it mean ?

The video file is corrupt and can't be processed by our servers. We ask you to verify the video integrity by trying to play it on your PC. We're 99% sure you won't be able to play it. If you can't play it or see it on your PC, there's little we can do to process it.

If you're able to play the video on your PC and still receive the message 'Invalid file', fill out the 'Feedback/Support' form and we'll contact you as soon as possible with a solution.
